The 210 MVP handler gives the flexibility of using either the 115V or the 230V input power. The best part is that no extra tools are required for connecting to the two power receptacles. The welder automatically adjusts itself to the right input power allowing smooth arc performance. There are 7 different voltage selections for 230V. On the other hand, 115V has got 4 voltage selections. Additionally, the multi-voltage plug makes it a breeze to connect and use your welder anywhere (whether at home or at industrial sites). So far I am really satisfied with the results I have been able to get from this welder.
User friendly and Easy to Set Up
I have owned welders before, and I can vouch for the fact that this is by far the easiest machine to use. The fact that the manufacturers have cared about providing a detailed set-up guide makes life even easier. There’s no guess work involved in flawlessly setting up your welder. All you need is a few minutes of carefully following the instructions that are clearly listed in the guide, and you are all set to start with your first welding project. Also, you don’t need any advanced operator skills to run this machine smoothly. It is, therefore, an excellent tool for beginners. The wide variety of features available with this welder makes it an equally suitable machine for professionals. In fact, I think this is a great product for anyone who is the market for an excellent welder that’s also fairly simple to use.
Flexible Features
A wide variety of welding projects can be completed with this welder. The 210MVP is used for welding exhaust systems, auto body panels, mower decks, tool carts, garden/lawn equipment, fences, metal structure, etc. You can use the optional plug-in spool gun, the SpoolRunner 100, for welding aluminum. I personally use this welder for professional welding projects as I have been welding for nearly 10 years. I have had experiences with many different welders, and if I were to go by the results, I would certainly say that this one is top notch. However, I must warn you that this might not fit the bill for you if you are in the market for a commercial/industrial welder that allows a relatively long duty cycle.
Affordable and high quality
Most other welders with the exact same features cost a lot more than the Hobart Handler 210 MVP. I think it’s quite a steal at this price. The smooth welding experience I get every time I use it pretty much convinces me that this has been a great investment. The Hobart industrial warranty with which this product comes makes the purchase quite risk-free. However, honestly, in the 8 months that I have owned this product, I have not had a single issue so far. I am using the machine almost every single day.

I think this is an excellent machine for home use and in most professional/industrial settings. However, I don’t think that this welder is suitable for heavy-duty professional fabrication work. If you are an absolute beginner, you can easily start out with this machine. The setup is really easy and the machine can quickly be mastered to deliver results. The wide variety of features available on the machine make it equally suitable for use by professionals.
