My quest for an efficient, lightweight and relatively cost effective TIG machine ended with this welder. I am honestly so glad I decided to go with this one. Portability was a key factor for me when I was making up my mind about buying a welder. My business requires being able to transport the machine from one place to another. I didn’t want to have to deal with the hassle of a welder that was too large to be moved around with ease. I am quite impressed with the size and portability of this machine. However, I wouldn’t say that it is super lightweight. I think it features more in the mid-range when it comes to weight. You can indeed find super lightweight machines, but for the power and efficiency with which this machine performs, it is absolutely outstanding. I think it’s an absolute steal at this price point.
Super Intuitive and User-Friendly Controls
Familiarizing yourself with a new tool can get quite challenging especially for someone like me who is extremely change resistant and finds it hard to adapt to new tools. However, learning to use this welder has been a relatively pain-free task for me. In fact, the simplicity of the machine is so impressive that I think even a total newbie can master it in no time. The user manual has very clear and precise instructions. Everything is laid out so well that even if you are a total novice, you’ll know exactly how to use this welder. The control panel is well organized making it very easy to master the controls to get precise results. I have been working a lot with steel lately and I am very satisfied with the results I have been getting.
Stable Arc
This machine provides a very stable arc for welding an array of different metals. So far, I have tried it on steel, aluminum and copper. The results have been excellent and I am more than happy with the results I have gotten. However, if you are a total newbie, you might require some practice before you can start to get the desired results. I would suggest practicing on some scrap metal before getting to your actual project. Once you have polished your skills and learned the basics of using the machine, I am confident that this welder will become your faithful companion for all your welding needs.

Let me be honest; I was a little nervous about buying a Chinese made product. My budget didn’t allow a more expensive machine and yet I wanted a robust welder that could serve my needs well.
